The Club Room at Soho Grand and Leif Huckman, founder of Williamsburg mainstay “Donna” collaborate on a vibrant cocktail experience curated for New Yorkers by New Yorkers.
The Club Room embodies New York nightlife: providing a refined experience through a rhythmic and sleek downtown lens.
Due to the pandemic, the beloved Donna space was forced to close. While they prepare for the next chapter it made perfect sense for Lief Huckman to return home to where his career began.
The collaboration features all of the Donna classics as well as new interpretations while the dinner menu compliments the program and draws inspiration from quintessential New York.
Sip the award-winning Brancolada once again, made with Rum, Branca Menta, Orange, Pineapple, and Coconut. Pair with offerings like Sturgeon caviar dip, and crab-stuffed prawns.
Cocktail highlights include:
–Plantain Campaign– Mezcal, Rum, Suze, Sherry, Banana, Cardamom
–Beau Nouveau-Boukman Botanical Rhum, China China Amer, Sherry, Vermouth, Lemon twist
–Happy Bastard– Gin, Brandy, St. Germain, Ginger, Lemon, Cucumber Tonic
In the early evening, you can expect to retreat to a room filled with sultry live jazz and repose in what feels like your own private living room, that is until the sound of Vinyl DJs spinning disco compels you to join a beau-monde of late-night roisterous dancing!
The space is highlighted with chartreuse-hued walls, lush greenery, and plush sofas. A gilded bar with deco-style murals of peacocks contrasts with oversized black and white photos featuring commanding subjects like Peter O’Toole in 1970s London, softly balanced by the tropical notes of the Donna cocktails.
