Wijnands has been described as an “Outstanding Jazz Vocalist” in Downbeat Magazine.

Vocalist Alma Micic was born and raised in Belgrade, Serbia. At the age of 16 she started performing with a local quartet at a time when jazz was making a comeback in Belgrade. Soon she became a featured vocalist with the Radio Belgrade Big Band and began touring and appearing at many local jazz festivals as well as television and radio broadcasts. Since moving to New York City in 2000, she has released four studio albums-Introducing Alma (2004), Hours (2008), Tonight (2013), That Old Feeling (2017) and has been hailed as a “vocalist that personifies what jazz singing is all about”.(Ron Della Chiesa, WGBH Radio) as well as “a first rate jazz singer.” by All About Jazz.

Her album “Lovesome Thing”, celebrating Ellington and Strayhorn, rose to number 6 on the jazz chart in 2021. She sang "America the Beautiful'' for the Mets/Yankees 9/11 game in 2021 on national television. Anaïs released a live record with London’s PizzaExpress in February, and will be releasing one under Club44 with Peter Bernstein next year.
